I'm based in Kathmandu, and most of what I care about outside of work fits under one heading: going somewhere I haven't been. I collect itineraries the way other people collect books — some get finished, most stay half-open on a tab I'll come back to.
People who know me tend to use the same words: easy to work with, quick to help, hard to rattle. I'd like to think that's true whether we're sorting out a problem or just figuring out where to eat.
By profession, I'm an advocate — I look after intellectual property portfolios at a law firm in Kathmandu. It's careful, detail-heavy work, and I'm genuinely good at it, but it's one chapter here, not the whole book.
